Conventional operation at low temperatures can increase the low-temperature corrosion of small diesel engines and produce excessive low-temperature sludge; Working at high temperatures for a long time will increase the oxidation and degradation of engine oil, increase the adhesion of the high-temperature area of the piston rings, and produce excessive high-temperature precipitation (paint film).
The purpose of maintaining normal oil temperature during operation of small diesel engines is:
1. Prevent excessive temperature of friction components, especially crankshaft bearings, to prevent a decrease in component strength and an increase in wear;
Due to the significant relationship between the oil volume of the oil pump and the oil temperature, if the temperature is too high or too low, the oil volume of the pump can only be reduced. The oil viscosity is only suitable when the oil temperature is normal (approximately 85 ° C). Not only does it have better fluidity, but it can also reduce backflow in the pump;
3. Maintain the normal temperature of the oil, which can reduce the oxidation rate of the oil at high temperatures and prolong oil replacement.
